Our Founder

It’s SEW You Gowns & Alterations was established by Lisa Stainbrook. She has been creating custom garments, home décor, bridal gowns, and formal wear for more than 30 years. Since she started, she has gained many clients who can attest to the quality of her work. Lisa first opened a bridal shop back in 2003. She was highly successful until she discovered that she had cancer. Because of the demands of her condition, she was forced to close the business in 2010. Today, Lisa has been cancer-free for 10 years, and she is pursuing her passion once more. Her courage and positive outlook on life inspire us every day.
